Dusky
Dusky are London based musicians Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman. Dusky’s diverse sounds are united by the duo’s singular aim – to compose electronic music with depth, soul and originality.
They are influenced by everything from classical and jazz to avant-garde electronica, the duo’s emphasis on musical depth rather than genre restrictions has seen their compositions played by DJs as diverse as Pete Tong, Vincenzo, Zane Lowe, MJ Cole, Dubfire, Sasha and Laurent Garnier.
Also existing as progressive/melodic house entity Solarity, they conceived their Dusky moniker as an outlet for their more organic, wide-ranging sounds – a deeply musical expansion of their nocturnal inspirations. Always intelligent, effortlessly intricate and often emotive, Dusky’s sound glides across genres easily.
